Bali Karma Fund

We differ from many "fair trade" businesses in that we hope to go further than just "giving a fair price". We will put funds toward activities that have broader impact, not just helping those we buy from. The Karma Fund is a pool of funds generated by your support of our efforts. Every purchase you make will add to this pool and help grow our ability to have an impact.

The 3 things we will focus on are:
- Rights and welfare of native peoples in Indonesia.
- Conservation of biodiversity and environmental health (this can include appropriate use of forests by indigenous and local people)
- Responsible participation by the US in our global community

We plan to devote 25% of our profits to investing in innovative community efforts which will open up large improvements with modest investment.
